Rebecca here with two new cards made with the Jar of Love kit! For these cards, I decided to create two monochromatic looks. There are plenty of goodies in the kit to create this look with blue, pink, yellow or green!
Rebecca here with two new cards made with the Jar of Love kit! For these cards, I decided to create two monochromatic looks. There are plenty of goodies in the kit to create this look with blue, pink, yellow or green!
I also created backgrounds with a technique I am calling tone on tone and pattern on pattern heat embossing. Basically, you use clear embossing ink and powder with small stamps from the kit to create tone on tone effects on patterned paper (also from the kit!).
I love the subtle layer of patterns you can achieve by stamping and clear embossing over the patterned papers. For example, I stamped a pattern of flowers over the blue polka dots and I stamped a heart pattern over the pink butterfly patterned paper.
I finished off the monochromatic look by using the blue or pink Shaker Toppings, twine and rhinestones.
