The new Fruit Basket Shaker Kit is just too stinkin’ cute! It’s great not only for cards, but also for fun summer layouts. The dies can be used to make eye-catching page accents and backgrounds. Here’s a layout I made using the lemon slice die to create colorful little pinwheels as the backdrop for my photos.
I die-cut the lemon slice shapes from the colorful paper pad in the kit. I layered them in a cascade on my page and interchanged the paper “slices” to mix it all up.
Tip: Don’t throw away the foam inserts from the shaker shapes you use. Save them to cut up for use as 3D foam pop-ups for page and card elements. That’s what I did with the photos here.
