Pool Party Layout!

Pool Party Layout!

Hello, it's Mary Ann Jenkins here with a new layout to share!

I know we're in the middle of summer (at least here in the states) but I'm still trying to catch up on some of my kids' school activity photos. This layout does have a summer feel to it since it's about a day at the pool, but it's really for my daughters school album, and I'm happy to be crossing her first grade pool party layout off my to do list!!

This project actually started when I saw the Summer Splash Epoxy Icons, that cute little anchor piece seemed like it was made to go with my photo since both girls have an anchor on their swim suits. The rolling waves and that adorable whale were perfect to add in to go along with the water theme.

I used my die cutting machine to cut out various sized circles from my cardstock, added pieces of patterned paper behind some of the circles, and also added the Blue Skinny Glitter Tape behind a few of the circles too. The Glitter Tape really catches your eye!

Next I added a bit of blue water color paint that I borrowed from my daughter (ha-ha!) just splattering it here and there. After the paint had dried, I then added the photo and the Epoxy Icons.

To finish my layout, I also added some of the Blue Sequins from the Toppings Set, and a few of the Blue Pinwheels for a little more texture and shine.

I love all the blue embellishments mixed in together, they all look so pretty and sparkly!

Thanks for stopping by the Queen and Company blog today, we love to inspire!
