Greta back with you today with another set of cards made from the super cute Fruit Basket Kit. My kids have gone back to school but I am still trying to squeeze a little summer sweetness out of each day!
I love how the pinks and reds from the paper pad go so well together so I designed my card around a red strawberry cut out.
I cut the strawberry so that the lines in the paper ran diagonal. I wanted to subtly draw the eye from the top left down through the strawberry to the stamped sentiment. Make those paper patterns work for you! Just a fun little trick.
For my second card, I played up the citrus-y theme by using the citrus pattern paper and then adding in cardstock to highlight those colors.
I kept the lemon slices as the focal point by using just the die cut on the whole slice and then adding shaker box on the half slice. Ink the edges of both pieces helps to bring things to life!
